Press Release: Vermont Public Utility Commission Seeks Eight People to Serve on VSPC

Today the Vermont Public Utility Commission announced that eight members are being sought to serve on the Vermont System Planning Committee – one primary member and one alternate representing each of the following four interests:
  • residential electric consumers
  • commercial and industrial electric consumers
  • town and regional planning organizations
  • environmental protection
Alternates attend VSPC meetings when primary members are unavailable. The Commission strongly encourages interested persons to learn more about the VSPC.
Interested? Mail letters of interest to the PUC Business Manager by June 28, 2018.
The VSPC is the first statewide collaborative process addressing electric grid reliability planning with the goal of ensuring full, fair and timely consideration of all options to solve grid reliability issues.
