Vermont law requires an independent audit every three years of the reported energy and capacity savings and cost-effectiveness of programs of energy efficiency programs approved by the Public Utility Commission. In fulfilment of this requirement, the Public Utility Commission contracted with Evergreen Economics for the independent audit of energy efficiency program years 2014-2016. The Evergreen Economics reports address the energy efficiency services delivered by Efficiency Vermont, BED, and Vermont Gas.
