DPS Heating and Process-Fuel Efficiency Program (Docket 7495)
Pursuant to 30 V.S.A. § 235, the Department of Public Service is required to develop heating and process-fuel efficiency programs and select a provider through competitive solicitation. On January 28, 2009, the Department filed a petition with the Public Service Board requesting that the Board review the programs, measures and compensation mechanisms selected by the Department. The Board is required to review the Department's selection and may "alter or impose conditions on any combination of these programs, measures, or compensation mechanisms as it deems necessary to promote the public good." 30 V.S.A. § 235(b).
