Lowell Mountain Wind Project (Docket 7628)

On May 21, 2010, Green Mountain Power Corporation, Vermont Electric Cooperative, Inc and Vermont Electric Power Company, Inc., filed a petition with the Public Service Board for approval to construct up to a 63MW wind generation facility in Lowell, Vermont, and the installation or upgrade of approximately 16.9 miles of transmission line and associated substations in Lowell, Westfield and Jay, Vermont. The companies must obtain a "Certificate of Public Good" from the Public Service Board for the project in order to go forward. The case in which the Board will consider the companies' petition is Docket 7628.
